On Spas

The Discovery Spa was the first spa I've ever tried. It was an anniversary treat from Vic. This was during the time when spas were only a handful and were really expensive. Only a few offer the home-service we know today. I got my first taste of the Swedish massage. My previous massages were the Hilot-type of massage.

On one of our anniversaries as BF-GF, we tried out the couple's massage in Natural Spa in Tagaytay. It was so relaxing that we hoped to stay and sleep. But, we couldn't.

We also tried Suriya, The Spa and City Lifestyle in Morato. Still, nothing beats the first.

Now that Discovery has relaunched and re-branded their facility, I definitely would like to try it out. Terra Spa looks really relaxing and inviting. I wonder how much it'll set me back this time.

Now, we'd just have to be content with the lady frequents our home to massage Vic and me.

I must've visited almost all reseller shops I've seen on the road.  I've noticed that these shops carry the top 3 popular ones:  Hermes, Chanel and Louis Vuitton.  There still are several pieces of Balenciaga, Valentino, Tory Burch, Celine, Gucci and Michael Kors but not as abundant as the top 3.  I guess what carries the most value are the three popular ones. If you are looking for cheap designer bags, I suggest checking out Don Quixote.  You will usually find on the topmost floors on Donki.  I think this is the one in Shinjuku. I am not so sure. You find them arranged like this or inside locked glass cabinets.  I'm sure the artisans who made these bags will tu...

Gratitude Calendar 2024

I stumbled upon a "challenge" that I thought would be fun and something I can actually do.  I think this will help change my mindset and prepare me for the coming holidays.  Here goes.... Today, I am grateful for the following: 1.  Time for prayer 2.  Convenience of travel and parking when we visited the cemetery 3.  Free lunch
