...I am supposed to find Vic's missing passport. The missing passport is an old one with no valid Visas. It's just that it has the bulk of Vic's travel history. I don't know where to start because I have to turn the whole house upside-down. That means I have to clean up our closets again. I need to find it soon so Vic can renew his US Visa in time for our trip this August. ...I have a Jazz class but I am not going. My body has changed so much that I can't cope with the teens . I am disheartened by the fact that the group is preparing for a recital that I am not joining. I may enroll for a workout class next. ...I just watched a new TV series by Fox called Glee. It is about a teacher who wants to the high school singing group a new life. Our group, ACS , finds it very timely and fitting. We have a friend who's about to do the same thing in a Jesuit school in NJ. If you want to see the first episode, you may view it here . The pilot episode was aired...

I Thought It Was A Workout Class

Last Monday, I remembered that I had to show up for the Jazz Class in Moro. I already missed two classes because I had no alternate baby-sitter for my two boys. I made it a point to be present at the remaining classes. When I arrived, I was surprised to see teeners and kids in the class. They decided to merge the kids and adult classes. Man, did I feel old! We stretched to the tune of Po-po-po-po-po-poker Face. The curves I got during pregnancy were in the way. I could hardly keep up! I could handle the kicks and the plies. I didn't bother with the splits. Some time during the class, I got the feeling that the class is being prepared for a recital. Nyek! I told the instructor that I am there only for the work out. She did say that I have the option not to join the recital. Buti naman.

Shall We Dance?

I am seriously thinking of enrolling in a dance class this summer. Dancing is the best form of exercise I know, next to malling. I think it's about time I lose the post-pregnancy weight. So, what brought this on? On my way to rehearsal yesterday, I saw a poster advertising the Moro Summer Program. I am torn between Jazz and Ballroom. It is quite affordable, at only 2,500 for 12 sessions. It even fits into my schedule. I'll see if I can drag a friend to go with me. ------------ As I was doing my research on dance classes, I found out that there are several studios nearby. One is right across Commonwealth called House of Dance. The other is Groove Central in V. Luna. Both are recommended. I even looked up Steps in Pasong Tamo since it is highly endorsed by my friend. I am just not too keen on the recital at the end of the program. I think I am way past that stage. If I don't find a better deal, I'll push through with the Moro class. Exciting! ------------ I...
