I Hate to Say Goodbye

Last December, I purchased this as an early Christmas present. I asked Vic's Tita to bring it home for me. I bought it specifically for our trip since I knew I'd need a bag that will keep my hands free to handle the boys. I wanted to get a Prada Gauffre but my eyes are set on Mimi's wedding. Si pesteng EQ talaga. On the first day, I noticed that the dye rubbed off on my cream sweater. On the next day, I noticed that the color faded on the creases of the bag. It is such a disappointment. Kainez! The leather is so soft and smooth like what they use on the Reva flats. Sayang talaga. I've been exchanging emails with TB's customer service. They suggested that I send it back to them. They will provide me with shipping labels so I won't have to pay for shipping charges. I don't want to return it because the color and leather are really nice. I'd rather have it replaced but they're no longer producing it. They'll just credit back the amount to...

Black Friday Sale

Fourth of July, Labor Day and Thanksgiving are my favorite US holidays because they always spell great bargains,. I have never taken part in any these because I am always a week late or early. I hope to be there next year, if God permits. Naririnig kaya ni God and ni Vic? Hehehe. ------------- Upon learning that one of my favorite shops is going on sale next week, I hurriedly checked if the bag I just bought is included in that sale. Thankfully, it is not. I wouldn't have to worry about refunds just to make up for the price difference.

A Personal Birthday Present

Ever since I got my first pair of buttery-soft TB flats, I've been wanting to get a second pair. I was hoping to get any of the following in time for my birthday. Unfortunately, my local importer of Tory Bs have a limited selection this month. Sadly, these are also not available at the local TB store. Their shoe display is also quite sparse. It is such a disappointment. So, I got this instead. They're lightweight and water-proof. Most importantly, it allows me to exercise while I walk in them. I hope I don't get cramps in them.

Butter-soft Leather

... was how my friend describe this new pair of shoes I had on. It's so soft because even the insides of the shoe were made of the same leather. My mother said it was perfect for shopping. I told my husband that I'd like to get another one in another color. I know, abuso na. photo snagged from authentics100 of ebay.com I'd been meaning to get one for myself but since I am using a Philippine-issued credit card, I can't purchase it online. I requested my Tita to buy this for me during the Memorial Day Sale. Neiman Marcus offered free shipping for this. I told her that I'll pay for it when she gets here in Manila. I rarely ask people to buy me expensive stuff. Nakakahiya. I'd rather pay for it with my own (or my husband's) money. She arrived last weekend. She handed...
