Madz Et Al 2009

Last night, we participated in the yearly concert series produced by the Philippine Madrigal Singers. If I remember correctly, it is week-long concert series. It is a real treat to music enthusiasts and choristers.

This pseudo-festival showcases choirs handled by current and former members of the Madrigal Singers. Our choirmaster, Jonathan Velasco, performed with two choirs that night. Our program consisted of three songs, Ave Maria by Verdi, Now That I Have You by Trina Belamide and Hold On, a gospel song.

I don't know why, but I had the jitters last night. It had been a long time since I last felt that way. Anyway, I think it ended well. We enjoyed ourselves performing last night. The crowd enjoyed the impromptu skit in the second song. We were all giggling by the time we finished the song. Click on the links so you'd see.

I must've visited almost all reseller shops I've seen on the road.  I've noticed that these shops carry the top 3 popular ones:  Hermes, Chanel and Louis Vuitton.  There still are several pieces of Balenciaga, Valentino, Tory Burch, Celine, Gucci and Michael Kors but not as abundant as the top 3.  I guess what carries the most value are the three popular ones. If you are looking for cheap designer bags, I suggest checking out Don Quixote.  You will usually find on the topmost floors on Donki.  I think this is the one in Shinjuku. I am not so sure. You find them arranged like this or inside locked glass cabinets.  I'm sure the artisans who made these bags will tu...

Gratitude Calendar 2024

I stumbled upon a "challenge" that I thought would be fun and something I can actually do.  I think this will help change my mindset and prepare me for the coming holidays.  Here goes.... Today, I am grateful for the following: 1.  Time for prayer 2.  Convenience of travel and parking when we visited the cemetery 3.  Free lunch
