While I was singing for a wedding last Saturday, a received a call from the franchise consultant. Since I was unavailable at that time, I returned the call when the ceremony finished. The big boss lady wants to know when we can meet for the ocular inspection of our target location. I specified two afternoons. I hope this meeting pushes through. It would mean that my franchise application is up for approval. ----------------- It is extremely difficult to get an answer from my franchisee. I am always the one calling their office for updates. Shouldn't she be the one trying to chase me since I am the one who's investing? If I don't get a reply from them soon, I'm afraid that I'd lose the space to someone else. I am thinking of a business to start-up. I already have two in mind. I have also done preliminary research on both. One is home-based and quite volatile. The other is more stable and would require an outlet accessible to the pedestrians. One would be completely mine. The other is shared with a friend. One is leaning towards luxurious items, while the other is on the practical and essential side of the spectrum. I just have to do the math and see it is worth the money I'm planning to invest.
