Mommy and Baby#2 Update - 39 weeks

Yes, only one more week to go till I go under the knife. For now, we are waiting for more consistent labor pains.

As per my weekly check-up, my baby has made his way lower into the birth canal. However, the opening is still firmly shut. I may be several days away from the actual delivery. It is actually a good thing since Vic's project (The Crib) is far from finished.

I am still experiencing discomfort. Lower back pains and contractions are more frequent now. Getting up from bed is still the most difficult thing to do. I have less leg cramps, though.

At present, I am more concerned about our first-born. He always looks for Mama when he wakes up in the middle of the night. I have already made arrangements for his stay when the time comes. We are hoping that he will not have a hard time adjusting to his new sleeping companions.

Before I forget, Baby #2 has a name already. The in-laws are still "requesting" to include my husband's name, which happens to be my FIL's name also. The husband would rather not. He'd rather name our little boy after a more popular person, with more followers. He will be named after a Saint =)

We've heard about the usual reseller shops that house these luxury brands.  The one I can remember now is Daikokuya. I must've visited almost all reseller shops I've seen on the road.  I've noticed that these shops carry the top 3 popular ones:  Hermes, Chanel and Louis Vuitton.  There still are several pieces of Balenciaga, Valentino, Tory Burch, Celine, Gucci and Michael Kors but not as abundant as the top 3.  I guess what carries the most value are the three popular ones. If you are looking for cheap designer bags, I suggest checking out Don Quixote.  You will usually find on the topmost floors on Donki.  I think this is the one in Shinjuku. I am not so sure. You find them arranged like this or inside locked glass cabinets.  I'm sure the artisans who made these bags will tu...

Gratitude Calendar 2024

I stumbled upon a "challenge" that I thought would be fun and something I can actually do.  I think this will help change my mindset and prepare me for the coming holidays.  Here goes.... Today, I am grateful for the following: 1.  Time for prayer 2.  Convenience of travel and parking when we visited the cemetery 3.  Free lunch
