My second attempt in turning the bananas into cakes was a big success. Not only did I remember to put sugar, I made use of the best baking butter in the market. I even got bigger chocolate chips. Also, this time, I made use of the better recipe.
The result was 42 moist (not to mention, mouth-watering) cupcakes with bigger chocolate chunks. Half of which I brought to Marikina for our afternoon snack. The rest I brought to rehearsals as a reward for the early birds.
My friends from ACS loved them. Some went for seconds, others for thirds. They were thrilled to find them encased in my own box. A couple asked how much I'd sell them. Others asked what else I can make for them. Career-in ko na daw.
We'll see. I did consider it at one point. Kaya nga may box na ko eh.
In the meantime, there are still bananas in the freezer. Tomorrow is another baking day.
