... was mostly spent confined at the Medical City.
My first born had high fever on Sunday night. By Monday, he was already uncommunicative. I thought we was hallucinating because he'd scream as if he was afraid of something. It happened three times. I told him to look at the light and he did. He was like that, looking at the ceiling before he fell asleep. He woke up a few hours later, shaking as he woken up from a nightmare. He was shaking for some time that we decided to bring him to the hospital.
We made it to the hospital in 8 minutes.
I was informed that what just happened was a febrile seizure due to really high fever. I didn't know that if the patient had a family history of convulsions, the patient had higher chances of having it too. In the next time that the patient succumbs to fever, convulsions could take place irregardless of the temperature.
We're glad to be out of the hospital by Saturday. Now, all eyes are on Javi who got what his older brother got last week.
