Travel Plans

This time last year, I had three trips lined up.  Now, I have made no travel plans for the rest of the year.  It seems that I've used up all my travel allowances.

But if I were to go anywhere this year (and if the money tree bears fruit), I would like to explore parts of the United States I haven't gone to.  I am targeting the New England area.  I want to see Martha's Vineyard,

the Vanderbilt mansion in Rhode Island,

and drive up to the Canadian side of the Niagara.  I don't what's there to see in Maine and New Hampshire.  Fortunately, The Vineyard and Newport are less than 1.5  hours drive from Tito Rae's house in MA.  Yes, I checked Mapquest already.

I'd also like to re-acquaint myself with Boston, Harvard and New York.  There are friends we'd like to visit in NY and NJ.  Hopefully, we also get to spend time with relatives in Chicago and Pennsylvania.

Europe and Japan will have to wait till 2013.  I don't know when I can squeeze in a cruise to the Holy Land.

Hahaha, pano ba yan Daddy, my itinerary na ko?

I can only dream... and drool =P

We've heard about the usual reseller shops that house these luxury brands.  The one I can remember now is Daikokuya. I must've visited almost all reseller shops I've seen on the road.  I've noticed that these shops carry the top 3 popular ones:  Hermes, Chanel and Louis Vuitton.  There still are several pieces of Balenciaga, Valentino, Tory Burch, Celine, Gucci and Michael Kors but not as abundant as the top 3.  I guess what carries the most value are the three popular ones. If you are looking for cheap designer bags, I suggest checking out Don Quixote.  You will usually find on the topmost floors on Donki.  I think this is the one in Shinjuku. I am not so sure. You find them arranged like this or inside locked glass cabinets.  I'm sure the artisans who made these bags will tu...

Gratitude Calendar 2024

I stumbled upon a "challenge" that I thought would be fun and something I can actually do.  I think this will help change my mindset and prepare me for the coming holidays.  Here goes.... Today, I am grateful for the following: 1.  Time for prayer 2.  Convenience of travel and parking when we visited the cemetery 3.  Free lunch
