What a Warm Welcome!

We arrived early yesterday morning to 32C.  I have no problems with the heat because I can usually take it.  What's bothering me is our aircon.  We were hoping that it'll be repaired by the time we get back.  Punyemas!  It's already a month since the parts were ordered and we still don't have them.  Summer is almost over and our electricity is running because the inverter aircon is busted!

Summer has just settled in when our A/C broke.  It started making noises then it just stopped producing cool air.  It is just our luck that the warranty expired just a month before this incident.  We had no other choice but to move into the den.  It is the only room that can hold us all together, with the comfort and convenience of the A/C, TV, and computer.

I miss the privacy and the peacefulness of our room.

When I called Panasonic to inquire about their parts, they said that their ETA is June.  Ganda!  Summer is already over by the time it'll get fixed.

Looks like we'll be sleeping in the den for 4 more weeks.

We've heard about the usual reseller shops that house these luxury brands.  The one I can remember now is Daikokuya. I must've visited almost all reseller shops I've seen on the road.  I've noticed that these shops carry the top 3 popular ones:  Hermes, Chanel and Louis Vuitton.  There still are several pieces of Balenciaga, Valentino, Tory Burch, Celine, Gucci and Michael Kors but not as abundant as the top 3.  I guess what carries the most value are the three popular ones. If you are looking for cheap designer bags, I suggest checking out Don Quixote.  You will usually find on the topmost floors on Donki.  I think this is the one in Shinjuku. I am not so sure. You find them arranged like this or inside locked glass cabinets.  I'm sure the artisans who made these bags will tu...

Gratitude Calendar 2024

I stumbled upon a "challenge" that I thought would be fun and something I can actually do.  I think this will help change my mindset and prepare me for the coming holidays.  Here goes.... Today, I am grateful for the following: 1.  Time for prayer 2.  Convenience of travel and parking when we visited the cemetery 3.  Free lunch
