That's what we were yesterday. That's what we felt yesterday. Apparently, even the in-house choir of PDI felt the same way.
First, the holding area was not enough to accommodate the two choirs.
Secondly, our PDI contact was so condescending, she thinks she is talking to a bunch of uneducated people. Ateneans hate being treated that way. We could be very polite but we can be very catty also.
Thirdly, gone was the prompt and friendly service of Makati Shangri-la's waiters. We were fed the worst hotel food EVER. The food in Manila Pen's employees' cafeteria tasted better. More importantly, it took them forever to give us water. Each course was served 15 minutes apart, in batches of 6. Just imagine how hungry our group was. The waiter reasoned out that he is the only one attending to us, thus the poor service.
Unsatisfied, we trooped to the nearby CPK in Glorietta, to drown ourselves in Iced Tea, desserts and salad.
