Jampacked!

This week, I hit the ground running. Even if yesterday was a holiday, I accomplished a lot. It was Divi in the morning for Christmas tree shopping and a 3-hour TATLO meeting in the afternoon. With around 60 days before the festival, we are starting to feel agitated. Really, there are so many things to do but, so little time.

Over the weekend, it was decided that we will end the year and welcome the new one in HK. Vic and I will bring the Johann and Javi. Then Vic wanted to bring ever-loyal Ate Gera with us.

So, here I am, getting frantic over getting her passport ready before we leave. I can't do that just yet because she needs her mother's maiden middle name to file for a DFA appointment. Before that, I'd have to get her Birth Certificate and some valid IDs. To top all that, she is only 17, so I'd have to get her a DSWD travel clearance.

May I just scream? Aaaarrrgggggghhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!

Now, I am off to the bank before it opens. Then, to the post office for the Postal ID application form. Then, to the grocery. Then, I'd have to make arrangements for Javi's party in two weeks. Then....

I tell you, it is endless. I feel ngarag just thinking about it.

We've heard about the usual reseller shops that house these luxury brands.  The one I can remember now is Daikokuya. I must've visited almost all reseller shops I've seen on the road.  I've noticed that these shops carry the top 3 popular ones:  Hermes, Chanel and Louis Vuitton.  There still are several pieces of Balenciaga, Valentino, Tory Burch, Celine, Gucci and Michael Kors but not as abundant as the top 3.  I guess what carries the most value are the three popular ones. If you are looking for cheap designer bags, I suggest checking out Don Quixote.  You will usually find on the topmost floors on Donki.  I think this is the one in Shinjuku. I am not so sure. You find them arranged like this or inside locked glass cabinets.  I'm sure the artisans who made these bags will tu...

Gratitude Calendar 2024

I stumbled upon a "challenge" that I thought would be fun and something I can actually do.  I think this will help change my mindset and prepare me for the coming holidays.  Here goes.... Today, I am grateful for the following: 1.  Time for prayer 2.  Convenience of travel and parking when we visited the cemetery 3.  Free lunch
