Warning: This post may bore you. I am composing an online schedule for the week.
We're leaving for Taipei this Saturday. Usually, the week before we leave our families is the most hectic week. Like most moms, I am trying to spend as much time as I can with my kids. It is not so easy to do. It is also the same week that gets swamped with rehearsals, sectionals, errands and other stuff we need to prepare for when we're away. Some people had to do advance work so they won't be too far behind when they get back.
I did what I planned to do today. I failed to do a few items but I think I can catch up tomorrow.
Just this afternoon, I shopped for two weeks' worth of groceries, paid my bills, confirmed my international roaming activation, purchased a memory stick and spent some time with my kids.
When I arrived home, I sorted out the stuff that needs to be brought to Marikina (where my kids will stay when Vic and I are away) and to my luggage. I also had a few minutes to make a kani salad, which I had for dinner.
Tomorrow, I need to go to the bank to deposit checks before I pick up the dress I had made for the wedding in California. In the afternoon, I am scheduled to drop off the kids in Marikina before heading to the 2nd to the last rehearsal in Grand Villas. I expect to find some time to pack for the Taipei trip.
On Wednesday, I volunteered to help with the clean up. My parents' new home is about to be blessed this Saturday morning.
Maybe I'll be able to relax a bit on Thursday since I only have the last rehearsal to go to. Maybe we should do breakfast at Edsa Shang. What say you, Daddy?
On Friday, I need to pack my stuff for a two-week US vacation. We leave two days after our arrival from Taiwan.
I can't wait for the Taiwan trip to be done and over with. The pressure to learn and memorize all fifteen songs (fifteen nga ba?) is too much. Parang competition mode ulit. On second thought, I am looking forward to the night markets. Anubuh! Argh!
Okay, time to sleep.

did you have a dress made for Tor's wedding too?
Simple dress lang, with a contact she got from her sister (who will be getting married next year).
Can't wait to see the final outcome of the dress!
