Ethanol spill

I pity those who had to go to Makati and Manila today.  The stretch of EDSA from Buendia to Ayala was closed due to the spill.  I'm sure the traffic jam stretched all the way to North Ave. Toxic pala ethanol.   There must be a better way to transport toxic chemicals.

Mondays

Monday is our errand day.  It is the day Vic and I go to the grocery and get our weekly supply of perishables.  It is actually the perfect day to shop.  Since most of the people are back in their offices, the parking lots are nearly empty. Shoppers also don't have to wait for their turn at the cashier.  Shopping is less stressful.   Every Monday is quality time for the rest of the family.  I get to shop/dine with Vic.  He gets to play with Johann. I used to hate Mondays.  But now, I love it. --------------- Resto of the week:  Recipes, home of General's Chicken and Crispy Tilapia --------------- Today is also the day we got Johann's certificate.  Check out it here .

Cutty? Cuddy?

People from way, way back (read: Glee Club days) call me Cutty .  I've forgotten how that came about.  I think we were in a foreign country then. So, we were very conscious of our dic-shyen.  We make fun of ourselves when we mispronounce the words.  The culprit will be the butt of the jokes until something/someone new comes along. (Yes, we were very bad.)  So, there I was, discussing what we're going to wear the next day when I unintentionally said duh-mit.  I was about to say costume but the Tagalog word made its way out of my mouth. I swear, if you think about it too much, the more you'll make a fool of yourself.  From then on, I was known as Cutty Cadanuh, now Cutty Endriguh.  Welcome to Cutty's world.
